Rosberg pushed out, Rosberg got wrecked. Things should be interesting in the Mercedes team meeting later.

They need an American in that booth. I love Hobbs and Matchett, but they’re so polite...they need somebody in there to call that like it was, which is that it was a horse shit, bush league move by Rosberg.
To me, that’s the difference between the two Mercedes drivers: Lewis copes with adversity by tracking down his team mate who was on the faster tires and goes around him, Nico tries to wreck both of them to keep the points gap the same instead of getting passed. Lewis whines a lot, but he backs it up on the track...Nico is a loser.

Couldn’t agree more. All the way around. Lewis puts his money where his mouth is. Nico puts his car where his teammate is. And his post-race interview was full of shit. “Lewis turned in on me.” Um, what? Where the fuck was that? Lewis was as outside as outside gets without being in the gravel. And then he tries to say that he gets to dictate the line since he was on the inside? Dude is delirious. Somebody needs a remedial class in race line etiquette.
And we definitely need an American in the booth. Since Haas is bringing America back in to F1, and he’s retiring at the end of the year and isn’t afraid to speak the truth one bit, my vote is for Tony Stewart.

Oh my god, Tony in the booth would be awesome. They’d have had to beep him a few times after the move Rosberg tried to make.
Nico was surprised Lewis turned in, but if Lewis had turned in any later he would have been at the German border. It was hilarious to me that David Hobbs basically called it the lap before, saying it would be better for Nico for both of them to DNF, and then Nico forgets to turn.
Lewis would have made the car really wide if the roles were reversed, I have no doubt. But I can’t imagine him just driving straight and blatantly forcing somebody off the track.
I love hard racing. That isn’t hard racing. That’s a candy ass, “I know I can’t beat you straight up” move...which is the sort of driver Rosberg is, apprently. Lost all my remaining respect for him today.
